" DarkStorm’s mind screamed where her voice couldn’t as she felt the calloused hands grab her hips, the teeth bite down on her arm, her tears hot with fury and revulsion coursing down her cheeks. ‘Raz… Dear Gods, Razoe, help me! Please!’

Razoe felt the scream neither man could hear like a shock to his heart. The words that were so clear in their need, voiced by their lost companion. How she did that, he had no idea. She had never made mention of any psychic abilities, yet he had heard her inside his head. He was even able to identify her injuries; three broken ribs, a badly wrenched knee, various cuts and bruising, an odd burning sensation around his throat and wrists, and a pain that made him nearly drop to the ground reflexively.

Fenrir’s ears flicked slightly when the drake stumbled into a tree, pausing in his relentless forward motion to glance back. “Raz, you aren’t looking too hot. Can you keep up?” The Wolf’s black eyes focused on Razoe, watching him with intensity second only to the quest at hand. Fenrir had no issue whatsoever if he had to leave the Sky King behind and continue on alone, and his tone made it very clear.

“It’s not me, puppy, it’s… Gods, it’s her. I can feel her…” He snarled as he slumped against the tree. He took a moment to try and steady his breathing once more and not howl out in pain. His body was glaringly different from DarkStorm’s, but his mind was doing an admirable job of filling in the blanks where her torment was concerned. "
